Frolic fell through the sky too scared to open her wings. She was afraid that the pressure of the wind and the resistance from her tiny wings would break them. She panicked and began to cry. "I shouldn't have tried this...i shouldn't have tried this...why did i do this to myself. Now i'm going to- " Her self pity was interrupted by a voice she had never heard before. It was strong and bold, harsh yet kind. "Open your wings slowly." She blinked and kept her foal position not knowing what she was hearing. "Open your wings, slowly and glide." Frolic slowly obliged and pried her wings off her body until they were completely out stretched so that she was able to glide out of her free fall. When she was finally flying again she looked around to see who had saved her from her most likely fatal fall but there was no one there.Stoic and frolic...
Frolic and stoic...
