Looks good to me. You have good shading skills because the soles turned out great. The lineart is fantastic too. Thanks mentioning me as part of your inspiration.

Well while I tried tracing the picture I asked you for, GIMP couldn't properly save layers in GIF data (loss of colours which ruined the AA). Also any PNG end up by fusing the layers together. I would have liked the layers to stay seperate by saving the work, so I could continue later on the rest.
However, because of these reasons and my unwillingness to let the PC run over night, I didn't finish the entire picture of yours and focused instead my entire being just on the feet, before I grew too tired.

I hope you can finish it when you feel like. However, I have to admit this pic is not very good since it is very simplistic: dumb background and the arms/hands were drawn quite carelessly. You can try some of my other pics if you want.

As for your picture, it would be difficult because of the said before reasons. To make things much easier I would require artwork with smooth line art. I could have put the blushing on the soles, but then the quality would have clashed with the rest of the picture.
As for other features hair, faces and the like. I still need more practice to create authentic anime/manga character faces.
