Late Summer, Year 758 of the New Age
Windborne Territory, Eastern Part of River Raue/ Glenmore, Western Part of Glenwood

-> Attention! Me not good english skillz.

She didn‘t thought anymore, she just ran. The trees of the forest seems closer with every step. Roots were thicker. The earth soft and muddy. Sedýl got stuck in the mud, stumbled and fell to the ground. The monsters overtook her without much effort. She roused herself with difficulty, the skin smeared with mud and pure panic in her eyes.
The canine beasts crept Baring its teeth around them. One of them would be jump on her.
No! I must get out of here!
Sharp teeth dug into Sedýls leg. Blood dripped to the ground. Sed screamed, bucked and managed to shake off the attacker. Her claw hit the animal in the eye. She ran faster than ever before. The growling and barking was indeed quieter the further Sedýl went, but did not stop. The forest rustled past her. It was brighter, the earth more sandy. And before she recognized it she was standing on an expansive beach. The wind whipped her hair her face.
On, and on!
Before her stretched the sea. Between the thick, dark clouds the setting sun colored the sea like liquid fire.
The waves played around Sedýls thin legs. The water was deeper the farther Sedýl ran into it and a strong current made itself felt. The salt of the sea burned painfully into her fresh wound. Meanwhile, she heard no more of her pursuers noise, they did not seem to be able to swim.
I could reverse. But what if they wait for me?
On the horizon she saw land.
No, go!
The wind grew stronger, the sea stormy. Sedýl lost the ground under her feet. Now the water had her completely under control.
She swallowed water, was pulled from the flow below the water surface. She appeared, coughed, only to again be drawn to the ground. Desperate, she kicked uncontrolled with her legs under the water.
It did not take long, and Sedýl left her strength abruptly. The stormy sea seemed to call after her body. Wanted to safe her, and then devour.
Sedýl gave up, there was no point.
If there is already such beings at the beginning then what awaits me in the future during my trip?
The ice-cold wet hugged and pulled her to the ground and wanted to rip her soul into a thousand pieces.
Find friends. Maybe a herd.
Tell me about how wrong I was to stop you always.
The words of Baldur.
There were the memories that apparently triggered something in her. A portion of her lost power came back. Sedýl pushed away from the ocean floor kicking her legs in controlled pulls towards the surface. As soon as she felt the wind, she grabbed panic for air.
The land on the horizon seemed a little closer than before.
Just a little bit!
Stroke for Stroke she fought on. She did not allow the water get back the upper hand. It seemed to take an eternity before she felt sand without being drowning to the ground.
Exhausted from swimming and drenched with heavy fur Sedýl dragged herself to the beach and plopped down in the nearby grass. Breathing heavily, she looked around. Even here on the border between her home and the wilderness she has already fought for her live.
The storm calmed down, the wind breezes gently over the grass where she lays.
It's over.
And I live.
