now that I'm getting into my own TLK AU, I decided to hop on this bandwagon! the blank one is here if you are interested

Uru - I know she looks really weird with her big nose and small eyes, I was trying to give her some of Mufasa's traits since Scar clearly takes after Ahadi. Anyway, Uru is Mohatu's daughter and the first heir of the Pridelands. She is a just and selfless queen who would go great lengths for her subjects, such as leaving to find a water source for them during a period of drought. She is very intelligent and is great at reading others, meaning she's good at identifying enemies. Unlike Ahadi, she treats both her sons equally.

Ahadi - Uru's mate and the first King Consort of the Pridelands. Sadly, he had a bit of a rough past. His parents abused him terribly, to the point where Ahadi began to think very lowly of himself because of all the cruel things his parents would say about him. He ended up running away as a young cub, and was taken in by a couple living in the Pridelands. He was betrothed to Uru and they eventually had two twin boys, Mufasa and Taka. Ahadi spoiled Mufasa rotten, but treated Taka quite badly since Taka looked just like Ahadi, meaning Ahadi saw a lot of himself in his young son. Thankfully, Ahadi eventually saw the error of his ways and realized he was taking out all his past experiences on his young son, but by the time he came to this conclusion, Taka, now called Scar, had gone too far to the dark side, never to return.

Mheetu - Nala's younger brother, who was born just a couple weeks before Scar took over the Pridelands. Mheetu was a tagalong who stuck to Nala like a little duckling, much to the older cub's annoyance. However, he and Nala really did love each other. Mheetu can be a bit on the quiet side, and even as a cub he was complimented for being mature beyond his years. By the time Simba reclaimed the throne, Mheetu had gone off on his own as a rogue, though he comes bak every now and then to visit his family.

Kopa - The eldest child of Simba and Nala and former heir to the throne, Kopa is charming but a bit proud and a show-off. Zira tried to murder him, but he managed to escape. During his escape he fell into a river, and it was believed that the young prince was dead. But in reality, Kopa had washed up somewhere and woke up to find out he was taken in by a lion couple. He decided that he couldn't go back to the Pridelands, because he felt he couldn't face his parents; he felt he wasn't a worthy prince after not being able to defeat Zira. So he lived among the rogues, and when he was of age, set off on his own. However, he later met Kion after going to the Tree of Life, and when they realized they were brothers, Kion decided to take Kopa home to have him reunite with the family. Kopa decided to stay in the Pridelands, and his parents reassured him that no matter if he could defeat Zira or not, they'd never be ashamed of him. Kopa later fell in love with Kiara's friend Zuri (who had become less stuck-up) and they had three cubs.

Afua - The only son of Chumvi and Tama, and Kopa's best childhood friend. He can be a bit pompous like Kopa, and can also be a bit preoccupied with himself, though he doesn't mean it. He tries his best to be suave, but he ends up embarrassing himself more often than not. In reality he is rather kind and outgoing, and likes to make friends. He is also very intelligent, but can be a bit flighty. He loves to wreak havoc with Kopa, even as they get older. He eventually falls in love with Tiifu and they have a son named Burhani.

Aisha - The eldest cub of Kiara and Kovu and the future Queen of the Pridelands. Aisha is quiet and soft-spoken, but has a strong sense of justice and righteousness. She is very gentle and motherly, always looking out for everyone. Her two younger siblings Chaka and Shani drive her nuts sometimes, but Aisha truly loves them and would do just about anything for them. When she's older, she chooses Kasi's son Matwa to be her mate, making him King Consort.
