Ultimate Description: A spy is a covert agent responsible for collecting information through multiple means and sources. Pierce’s training is in counterintelligence, collective, offensive and defensive. He collects and evaluates intelligence and coordinates with other agencies or departments like local law enforcement in the interest of national security. This means infiltrating unlawful organizations, installing surveillance devices to monitor their activities, and occasionally working undercover to thwart crime before it happens and feed false information to those that would harm the nation. Most often, however, Pierce is in and out before anyone can notice. His specialty is covert infiltration and audio surveillance. He’s skilled in the use of a variety of tools, techniques and technology to helps succeed in his work. He’s also trained in physical ability with a focus on stealth and speed. Currently, he works with the CIA in the United States, primarily against local, home-grown threats.
Court Talents:
[ Skeleton Key ] -- Pierce is a savant at infiltration. He’s able to lock and unlock a wide variety of locking mechanisms. Doors, drawers, boxes, if it’s closed he can find a way to get in (provided the rules allow him to even attempt it, of course).
[ Third Ear ] -- Everything he hears is important, especially if he wasn’t supposed to hear it, and Pierce is always listening. He has a special ear for quiet sounds and words exchanged in whisper or muttered under someone’s breath. Given the nature of the killing game, he also has a habit of recording snippets of conversation for future reference.
Court Weaknesses:
[ Bomb Squad ] -- Pierce has a tendency to become belligerent and aggressive when he doesn’t feel he’s being heard. His solution to this is usually to disengage from the argument and cool down alone. Since that isn’t an option in trial, one of two things will happen: he'll either become silent and essentially give up, or he’ll become hostile to the point where he argues against reason. (The latter is more likely, but it depends which wire you clip ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ).

On first impression, Pierce comes off as cold and antisocial, wanting nothing to do with other people. He’s extremely mistrustful of others and expects everyone to be against him on principle. Society doesn’t typically take well to his past exploits or the secretive nature of his current occupation. He’s aware of this and expects others to treat him with a certain level of mistrust. This tends to make it a bit of a self-fulfilling prophecy though. Because he expects people not to care for him personally, he preemptively acts like kind of a dick and makes people dislike him.
He’s quick to anger and can be rude and argumentative when he doesn’t get his way. He has a habit of becoming downright hostile when he thinks he’s right. He thinks he knows best and hypocritically can’t stand people that think they know everything. At the very least, he's good at recognizing when he's getting out of hand and will willingly disengage from an argument when he feels the threat of violence coming. He doesn't care for violence and will avoid it as much as possible.
It’s hard for him to get on friendly terms with anyone, and once the killing game is in full swing he’s going to have a really long warm-up period for just about everyone. People that look down on his occasionally childish behavior will receive the brunt of his snark. His respect very much has to be earned. He respects people on the basis of their actions and judgment, not on the basis of their position alone. He’s typically more receptive to people who are relaxed, quick-witted and don’t take themselves too seriously. Enough interaction with people like this will help him relax and enjoy a bit of sarcastic, playful banter.
Most of his positive personality traits are work-related. He takes his job seriously, and the habits he's learned in it bleed over into his daily outlook. He's not one to slack off, and spy work requires a level of diligence and resourcefulness he can effectively apply to a variety of scenarios. While not exactly trustworthy, he’s dutiful enough to finish any job that’s asked of him and remains calm under pressure provided he sees the benefit of doing it.

Pierce doesn’t have much of a public presence to speak of, although this probably isn’t too surprising for the Ultimate Spy specifically. There’s no Wikipedia page dedicated to him, no personal Facebook or Twitter. He’s not on Instagram; he’s not on Snapchat. He’s not a ghost, but a public search will likely return a hundred other people that share his name, choose to put themselves out on social media and are generally more remarkable people than he is.
Where he does appear is in police and social service records. Among them are documents from child protective services, a missing persons report, a short arrest record in St. Louis containing a few misdemeanors for vagrancy and petty theft, and formal adoption papers filed in Washington, D.C. All of these files are dated before his 12th birthday and no information can be found about him after this.

Old habits die hard. He’s no longer involved in any blatant instances of theft (ie.robbery, shoplifting, pickpocketing) since that would jeopardize his job as a spy. But he’s occasionally known to swipe things that happen to catch his interest. Nothing of particular value and never on the job. He won’t steal your wallet or anything, but it might be good to make a habit of checking your belongings after an interaction with him. Parkour and Urban Exploration
Good practice for his work and one of his favorite pastimes. He enjoys running around the city and climbing urban structures especially. The practice has left him especially familiar with the streets of St. Louis and Washington, D.C. He avoids trespassing (or at least getting caught doing it c; ) and makes it a habit to get well-acquainted with any place he’ll be spending a lot of time in. People-Watching and Eavesdropping
More good practice for his work. This is more for relaxation so he’ll usually stick to quieter, more open places. He likes trying to piece together details about the lives of people he’ll probably never see again. He practices lipreading here too. Sometimes he’ll be a creeper and follow people, just for funsies. See how far he can get before he’s noticed. He’ll stop if he’s noticed or if they go to a residential area though.
