Description My try at rendering an Elf. This scene was definitely a challenge for me. But since I'm a fan of Bio Ware's Dragon Age world, I couldn't resist.

I wanted him to look like he is in his element, this is his forest and his home. And although he is calm, I wanted him to look like he is still paying attention to his surroundings.

Although Solas did kinda broke my heart by the end of Inquisition, I still think that he is one of the most interesting characters in the game.

Me too, he was ''interesting'', but I did not like him that much, so it will be easier to fight him

Nicely done, big DA fan here too. I just wish we had the option for more 'natural' attire in game for the Elves. While the game was quite good, the clothing choices left a lot to be desired, anyway really like this. Good composition, and character.

I totally agree with you. And the fact that I can't change the body or height of my characters bugs me! 
Anyway, I can't wait for the next DA!

He looks really nice, but I can't trust in bald elfs after what happened with Zathrian in origins and then the whole Egg head thing in inquisition.

Thanks for the spoiler! I just started playing Inquisition. I had my suspicions and Dragon Age does have the habit of villainizing the apostate mages.  But still!

He looks something akin to a sentinel of the forest. Love the natural surroundings and depth of field too...there's a strong sense of depth to the forest. And can I assume you're playing with Marvelous Designer? Nice work, sir!

No... actually, I've created the clothing using Blender and applied the dForce modifier to give it some movement.
