The one I am looking at right now is just a little Wacom Bamboo. Best Buy has them for under a hundred dollars. The Intuos 3 is really what I'd love to have, but unfortunately that kind of investment will have to wait a few years until my college loans are out of the way. lol I just tell myself it will be well worth the wait

It will.. I hadn't realised your immediate dilemma, I'm sorry.. I hope this turns out to have all the pressure sensitivity etc. you need - 'though even just using the mouse in pen format is better than holding a normal mouse for the purpose of tracing round edges etc!

The pen is so much better! Using a touch mouse for extended periods makes my hand cramp up, too. I was sort of undecided on whether it would be enough for what I want, but a friend of mine recently purchased one of these so I've had the opportunity to give it a test run
