Description
His body felt like it was on fire. Black and white fur spread over every inch of his skin. THUMP THUMP THUMP, his heart raced in his chest; head pounding as he felt the burning spread of the fur on his back and sides. Gasping for air, he fell to the floor; momentarily glancing upward toward the red moon in the sky. The scared young man tried calling out to anyone, but his words seem jumbled, alien. They weren’t his. A pain shot through his body as his skull began to reshape; jaw cracking outward, away from him into the muzzle of an animal. He gritted his teeth and whimpered. Whiskers were on their way out of the sides of his changing nose, his ears burned and tugged upward on his changing head.

Elsewhere, the fur continued to spread; jet black with a pattern of broken white stripes. The young lad’s body began to compress in on itself. He tried standing, but some unseen force wouldn’t allow it. Instead, his legs fought to stay upright. He tried calling out again, but again, only the sounds of a scared animal escaped his lips. The world around him grew exponentially as he rapidly shrank in size. Shorts, once fitting, dropped to his feet; black fur wrapping his exposed thighs as his feet cracked and shifted into the perfect visage of paws. Scared, he kicked away his shorts and underwear. The sudden jerk of his leg did in his balance. He fell forward on to his hands, or rather, what was left of his hands. His eyes widened in horror as he watched his fingers melt away; hands losing any resemblance to a man’s. Instead, he was left with the small paws of an animal, complete with sharp claws.

Soon, the young man felt something else behind him. It was as if some invisible hand had grabbed a hold of his spine and pulled hard. He yelped and squeaked; mouth agape as he slowly craned his furry neck around. There, a large fluffy appendage sat hanging behind him; growing out further in length and size. His tail. His skunk tail. Panic spread faster now as he realized the outcome: he was becoming an animal. A feral animal. A skunk.

The transforming lad scrambled to lift himself, to stand, to escape, to find help; but it was all useless. His hind legs wouldn’t allow him to get the balance he required. His frame continued to reduce itself in size as the final few patches of bare skin were consumed by his fur coat. He groaned and clenched his eyes as his senses dulled. The hair atop his head turned black and white; becoming one with the fur covering the rest of him. With a few squeaks and whimpers, he lifted his new tail, thoughts becoming cloudy and incomprehensible. Changes began slowing to a close. Senses came back; instincts stronger now than ever. Before long, only a small spotted skunk remained of the former human. The tiny animal crawled out of the large, blanket-like shirt and sat, pondering how he got into this strange setting. Tail lifted, the skunk walked out of the room, mind drifting to finding food, possibly a mate, and finding a nice place to sleep. The blood red moon hung low in the sky, watching over others on this cursed night.

Done for Skunktember a couple years back! Still ridiculously happy with how this came out! X3 Took about 7 total photos to build in each part and blend 'em! :3c Was a lot of fun; would totally need to try this sort of one again! ^^
