I can finally show all of you what I made for my Secret Santa art doll trade partner this year
It was also my first year to take part, but definitely not the last! The Secret Santa swap is hosted every year by I really love how it turned out! I had to figure out how to do all these details, and it was really fun to experiment
Definitely one of my best results! I especially love the little clawed hands.Needle felted on wire, faux fur, felt fabric painted with markers, and polymer clay horns, spikes and claws.

Wow that must take a while xD. I've been working on my felting for a few years but I don't think I've ever stabbed to the point, ahaha.

Well it does take longer, but I wouldn't say a while. Maybe I'm just too used to it xD I stab fast.
Also I've noticed most people like to stop before it's firm, and that's no bad thing. I would just have a really hard time figuring out when to stop, so I'd rather go all the way. And I must say I love the results!

I use the clover 3 needle tool so it gets it done quite quick, though I'm still cautious of stabbing myself xD

I must say I've never used needle tools. Just plain needles. I mean I can't really compare, but I feel like that's better for precision works and details. And I stab myself all the time xD I've got quite used to it tho so don't really pay attention to it anymore. Just have to see that the blood doesn't get on the wool ._.

Oh gosh I couldn't survive with no tools any more, aha.
For a good 2 years I only used a single needle and it took so much longer.
Now I use both X3
And oh lord I got blood on a sheep I felted one and it wasn't fun, haha. It looked like a zombie. Or should I say, zomBAA xD
