Just a quick sketch with brush and ink to free myself up a bit.The original pose is from a story i did a while back called 'The Orphanage'. I canned the idea after finding out the guy who directed Pan's Labrinth was making a film with the same name. Yep, thats all it takes me to can an idea..
I basically did this as fast as i could without getting too overboard with the details, or being too hard on myself. Having said that, I'm not too familiar or great with a brush, so it was hard to just smash out some in without hestation.
It's now gonna be the first page of a little short story I'm doing called 'The Orphanage'...

Ya somtimes you never know when to stop with the detail. Add too much and ya ruin the picture.
