The finished product of my first project on Blender. The Night Fury Pod Racer!

(Well, hopefully I'll figure out how to make it not so edgy, but for now I'm done!)

It's a ramjet powered, but blade started, engine. Ya know, cuz ramjets have to have air ALREADY moving at high speed through them to actually start running. By the way, for any who don't know, ramjet engines have no moving parts and are very special in that respect. However, one negative aspect of them is that they use A LLOOTT of fuel - rendering them unfit for commercial use. But who said you couldn't use it on a pod racer? It's just a sport anyway. A sport that I wish really existed... really badly!! Another thing to note is that yes, the cockpit is a little bit large. First off, it's is indeed enclosed because at the huge speeds these things go at, I honestly WOULDN'T want to be in the open air. And second, unlike in the movie, I noticed that I needed to put the fuel tank and batteries somewhere - and the engines themselves don't seem like a great place to put them because they're always slamming into other racers. And while, yes, having a huge tank of jet fuel sitting behind you doesn't seem like a great idea either, it's the only other place.

A MIND BLOWINGLY fast racer. While, slow to get going, this thing truly has some FURIOUS speed! Is meant for the higher tiers of pod racing and sports the latest straight-plasma power coupling rather than the old electric ones. This is a truly spectacular sight and soon we'll see if it can live up to its name!
