And three weeks later, I actually upload them for realsies. If you follow my tumblr, I'm sure you've seen them before. If not, well...Enjoy my cute fantasy horses, and their awesome "human" counterparts.

Oh wow, you're so good with colours - and drawing horses. They're amazing, all of them.
My favourite one is probably Walking on Water and Dragon - the former because of the soft colour and the long, flowing mane and the latter because it looks just that awesome xD

Is the last one based on a leafy sea dragon? Those are so gorgeous! I also (have always) admire how your designs aren't stereotypical animu-desu "pretty" sort of designs! They're fun to look at!

Yep! Leafy sea dragons are just so beautiful, and I've always kind of found the idea of literal sea horses really fun, so I decided to combine the two.
And thanks. I actually don't take much inspiration from anime (I don't consider my style to be anime either), so I guess that's why it doesn't look stereotypical. I tend to look to nature for ideas instead, largely basing my colour palettes and designs off of interesting animals, plants, and even things like rock formations!

They are gorgeous! At the aquarium, I can stare at them for ages! They always look so graceful and peaceful. That's a great idea, also--the words 'sea horse' actually makes me think of hippocampi first. xD Or kelpies, maybe.
Oops, I hope I didn't offend you with that--I didn't mean to! Thank you for sharing your idea-getting process though, that's pretty interesting! I wouldn't have considered rock formations~
