Vin doesn't usually smile... We caught him in a pretty good mood. He probably just ruined Edward's day, or something. Why else would he be sneering?I'm headed back to Australia for three weeks tonight, so I thought I'd submit a quick piece as my goodbye. I'm going to have limited (if any) internet access while I'm there, so don't be too disappointed if you don't hear from me for a while. I haven't died. (Unless I was bitten by a death adder, or eaten by a crocodile. Then I'm probably dead.)

It's not hot everywhere in AU... For example, it's cold like you wouldn't believe in Central Aus right now... It's winter! And I'm pretty sure it's rainy as hell in Melbourne. Only Northern Australia stays hot year round!

Well, my dad did a lot of work there a few years back,. so we go every now and again so he can a) catch up on work, and b) enjoy a place that we're all very much in love with. Don't worry, I'm sure I'll be fine.

I know. The dodge tool is, in most situations, my worst enemy... I promise you I don't usually use it on my art, let alone to this extreme, but I was feeling extra lazy today.

I use it on eyes sometimes, and hair too but just to get a colour (and then I undo) so it doesn't get that RRRRRRRRRGH kind of look.

Usually if I want to make the highlight colour of the eye stand out more, I use a really small brush and... Yea I'm not too good at explaining.
I don't use it much anymore though, I pick my own colours more nowadays because I'm using a different program.
