Grencia Mars Elijah Guo Eckener, also known as Gren, one of the many bounties of Cowboy Bebop. One of the few characters [Haku being one of them] that has touched me the most.

For all who doesn't know his story [pardon me if this is gonna be long, but i'll try to keep it as short as i can]: He was a close comrade of Vicious [the main antagonist] in the Titan wars. When they came home, he got arrested for treachery [if my memory serves me right] and was imprisoned. He later found out that Vicious was the one who testified against him. Now he got the bounty for escaping jail, and he did that only to ask Vicious why he did it. In prison, he got insomnia, and he took drugs to relieve it, now he got a woman's chest as side-effect, and I think he's also dying because of it. He got to meet Vicious again, and he asked him why, after all they've been through and that he believed in him. Vicious just told him that it was bad faith, that he believed in the wrong person. So they battled [Spike entering the scene], with Vicious getting away. Weak, Gren told Spike that he wanted to go back to planet Titan, Spike disagreeing due to his state, but he said that if he died on the journey, he would be glad to know that he was on the way back. On the way, he died, smiling. "A soldier who hasn't stopped fighting, and doesn't know how to go to where the spirits dwell."

Cool guy. He plays the saxophone at a bar [forgot the name], and "space lion" is the song he frequently plays [it's the song from the musicbox Vicious gave him before]. At first I was shocked, the time he handed Faye his coat. Faye told him that if he thought he could get her with that, he was wrong. Gren just smiled politely and said, "sorry miss, but I'm not interested in women." lol. so I think the rest of the story explains it all.
