Description So yes, this is my August wallpaper.
Yes, this is Christian Bale.
In a striking Armani suit.
IZNT HEE SEW HAWTT?!?!?!?!?!?!?@@?@?!?!???!!!

~nirvanaXx and I found this ad today while we were totally fangirling over Batman and Christian Bale. [link]
Can you say "sexy"? I mean...WHILLAKERS! This ad makes me think "If I had enough money, I would buy all Armani clothes, because Christian Bale wears Armani." Which is what it's supposed to do. And I usually don't go for these franchise things and celebrity endorsements (because normally I don't like the celebrities they choose to endorse their products. And their products are normally slutty. Have you SEEN the Candies ads featuring Hayden Panettiere? Make me want to toss my cookies.) but I mean come on. It's Christian Fucking Bale for Pete's sake. Give him a *squee*.

*NOTE* I know that the last...four or so deviations I've posted have been fanart. Christian Bale fanart actually. So I promise that this will be the last for a while.
...
At least until September comes and I need a new wallpaper.

*EDIT*
I don't know how many of you ever noticed this, but I did while I was watching TDK for the third time yesterday. (I told you I was a fangirl...) Christian Bale's lips kind of look like the Bat signal. Am I right? Or am I just crazy?

This is gorgeous, but so is anything with the beautiful, brooding hotness that is Christian Bale. I love him so much. 50% because he plays the greatest DC comics character eve (Batman pwns everyone), 50% because he is so ridiculously sexy.

I was lucky enough to see a Bale Armani ad here in Tokyo... I went crazy on the street. Started to take pictures and everything. XD

I love Christian to death.

I....know...

It's okay haha. Trust me: I UNDERSTAND! *gazes at Christian Wallpaper*

AH! Not fair! I haven't seen any of them here -- my friend and I spent hours looking for it online. The first time we saw it was on the TDK website. We've seen plenty of other Armani ads, but none of him.
But I would have done the same thing. Probably start screaming and pointing and jumping up and down and cursing myself for never having a camera with me.

meeeeeee toooooooooooooooooo...
All of my friends have been giving me shit over the whole "family abuse" thing. Which was blown SO out of proportion -- I don't think yelling and pushing past someone compares as abuse. But I'm the only one who read the news articles, so everyone just thinks he's a "mamma mauler" as my friend so politely put it.
I schtill luffs him.

We should have this huge wedding and invite absolutely everyone we know. And hire people to take pictures. WEDDING PICTURE DAY WITH CHRISTIAN BALE!

...we could totally jump on all of the couches and beds and no one would know. Hee hee hee. And pop popcorn in a popcorn popper without the top. So the kitchen would be FILLED with popcorn! PARTAY!

cavudog In reply to ThatsWhatSheSayd [2008-09-09 19:02:27 +0000 UTC]

I only know like EVERYONE! This wedding would rock my small world. Oh my god, I didn't even think of that CHRISTIAN BALE SITTING IN MY LAP!

Ooh. I like the sound of this, my only question is, shouldn't we be practicing for this day to come?!

Popcorn. Mmm

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

ThatsWhatSheSayd In reply to cavudog [2008-09-09 20:04:36 +0000 UTC]

We will have a wedding with EVERYONE in the world invited! IT WILL BE AWESOME. Where will it be? The Caribbean? A Scottish Castle? NYC? Wales? LA? So many choices!
Great, now I'm having fantasies about sitting in Christian Bale's lap. Thanks. Now I won't be able to do my homework.

...That would be fun, but I think part of the fun is the spontaneity of the thing.
We should also run through the house with rolls of toilet paper flowing out behind us like streamers.

I LOVE POPCORN.
Except I'm weird and don't really eat butter or salt on my popcorn. And I only get movie popcorn when I'm going to see "The Dark Knight". And even then, I'd be more inclined to get "Dark Knight" Whoppers or Milk Duds. Because nirvanaXx and I are determined to win the Batman motorcycle.

So have I. I'm too lazy to start my homework. Procrastination is my way.

We'd be ridiculous. Honestly if it was you myself and Christian Bale on a couch my heart would probably stop and I'd die the happiest man alive.

Hahahaha of course gotta have that Batman Popcorn.

I'm glad I know you too -- it's always good to have a Partner in Crim-- I mean, Love.

I really have to start, but first I'm going to reply to all of my deviantART messages. But then I will to my chem notes. And my Greece homework.

Hee hee I may die then too. And I'm sure Mr. Bale would feel the same. And then we could all chill again in the afterlife!

Totally.

Aw, thank you. I'm going to reply to this current stream of messages (hee hee I love having so many messages in my dA inbox) and then I have to do English and Greece. But yes, my Chem = cry and my math = muarghableh

Most definitely. We should all play Twister. And then after we all fall over, then we should go on the couch and then die. And then do it all over again.

MMMGUH I WANTS IT! THE PRECIOUS! IT'S OURS! YOU STOLE IT FROM US, NASTY HOBBIT! AND WE WANTS IT BACK!

I am NOT an LOTR geek. Really. And I don't have FotR and TT extended. Nope. Not at all. And I did have LOTR calendars two years in a row. And even if I did, I wouldn't still have them in a drawer somewhere. Especially not the Boromir page. No siree. I recycled him. Yep.

Aww, thank you! We may need to take it out for a joyride on those weekends when we jump on the couches and pop popcorn and wrap the house in toilet paper. Hours and hours of fun.

LOtR is pretty awesome. I went to the Science Museum Exhibit the night before it was open. I was in like 5 newspapers because of it.

He WOULD be the best grandfather. Except I would also be a tad sexually attracted to him, which would be semi-problematic.

Coolness. I'll keep it in mind.
I love it when people reply too. I feel so popular.
Yep yep yep.
Ooh Atlas? Not my favorite teacher, but definitely on the high end of the math-teacher scale. Better than Ravalese.

...well...I suppose. But don't tire him out TOO much. I need a turn as well.

*Napoleon Dynamite voice* LUCKY!!!
Seriously, I am ever so jeeeelouse. I wanted to go and meet Sean Astin, but we couldn't. I did get to go though, which was fun. But not as fun as going on opening night. Like SOME people got to do.

That goes without saying! But we can only watch the good ones...like...um...uh...
The only good one is actually "The Dark Knight". Because all of the other Batman movies are lame because the other Batmans are rather sucky (Except for the REALLY old one with Adam West. That one = epic lulz). But the cartoon series "The Batman" was actually really good.

I'm glad for you. *doesn't comment on Atlas*

*JEEEELOUSE*
Prolly better anyway. It would have been insanely crowded and kind of overrated. Although I do have a small platonic crush on Sam.

We could watch "Newsies"!!! IT'S ONLY THE BEST DISNEY MUSICAL EVER! A 17-year-old Christian Bale...with a New York accent...wearing suspenders...singing and dancing...whilst selling newspapers...
YOU HAVE TO SEE IT! djbjrca has yet to see it as well (I've been meaning to show it to him since the end of freshman year), so we should have a Newsies party.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

ThatsWhatSheSayd In reply to cavudog [2008-09-14 20:15:13 +0000 UTC]

It's not weird, it's abstract.

Haha OKAY. Makes much more sense now.

*sigh* FINE, i'll tell you.
I don't like how he will spend 20 minutes in class talking about his political views when he's supposed to be teaching me math. Even if his views were similar to mine, I would be angry about it. I don't do well in math and I need my teacher to teach it, not tell me about something completely unrelated. He also just seemed kind of...not "arrogant" exactly...but more than a little Narcissistic.
And he insulted Mr. Mahony's totally BAMF pinstriped suit and made him feel really self-conscious about it. Which I think was totally uncalled for. And he also insulted it incorrectly by referring to the wrong time period.
So that is why I do not like Atlas. Don't hate me?

hah yes, it would have been awesome. but got to go to the exhibit anyway, so I guess I didn't miss out on TOO much. Although I wish it was still around now because instead of being terrified by the wax sculpture of Boromir in the boat, I would have spent the whole time just staring at it...

YES! I don't know about when tho. My schedule is pretty non-consistent.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

cavudog In reply to ThatsWhatSheSayd [2008-09-14 22:40:40 +0000 UTC]

It's lacking proper wording, really. xD

I made so many mistakes in that reply. Quite bad of me *Hits himself*

I get that too while being in his class. I'm in an idiotically low class so I don't pay attention anyways. I was good at math in middle school but then I had a horrible teacher so I quit math, really. I just sit in the low class getting A's and not caring..
I heard about that instance. I think Atlas is jealous of Mahony. Mahony is awesome all the time and is smooth and creative. Atlas is rather awkward all the time so he comes up with excuses to try to get our man down.
I won't ever hate you for having an opinion supported by evidence. Or even just for having an opinion.

I met the dude who played the Orc who killed Boromir.. He was there. He made up for his cruel act by being awesomely nice and funny. That sculpture was too life like. It was rather weird.

As is mine. I'm TRYING really hard to get F block lunch, but I don't think it's possible, which is rather upsetting.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

ThatsWhatSheSayd In reply to cavudog [2008-09-16 01:42:22 +0000 UTC]

True, true. But still. You could say it's "modern" sentence structure. Like modern art being a yellow square. This is just missing key words.

I still wuv woo.

Aww, that's sad. I mean, I'm glad you're getting As and all, but still. Not caring is a sad thing.
He SO is jealous of him. Which is what I told Mahony, but I have yet to see the suit again, so I don't think he quite believed me. But I think Atlas behaves the way he does because he is insecure about...like...everything. I don't know really. I don't know what his life has been like, so I'm going to practice nawt judging.
Still. I don't like him.
Oh thanks. Thatsh very nishe of you.

Well THAT'S good. Because I'm still quite cross with him for killing off my favorite character in the first movie. It was SO not cool.
It actually was really weird. I was so scared that it was going to wake up and come out of the case. Unfortunately, he didn't.

That sucks on some levels, but on the other hand, we wouldn't have our amazing Mondays if you didn't have D-block. We'll manage somehow

How sheik.

Why, I'm speechless, thankies!

Yeah. Math is just another subject now. I'm just glad I have an entertaining teacher.
I honestly think that Atlas wishes he could be with someone as cool as Mahony and because he can't he hates him to justify his feelings some how. We're not judging, just trying to figure out why a nice guy would mean to another nice guy...
Neither do I.
It's the thing you should expect from people..

He did apologize for it. xD
I kinda wish he did, I'd be like 'sup dude?

because it is. Except some jackasses at salon.com gave it a "D+". I just tried to read the review and couldn't because it was so painful. Some person ranting about how horrible Christopher Nolan is and how the movie had no moral complexity and blah blah blah how boring Alfred Hitchcock is so much better blee bloh bleh bleh bler. I seriously wanted to KILL the author -- let's see him direct something better, the ass-hole. Alfred Hitchcock is amazing, but he made some serious crap too. Not everything he did was perfect, and while TDK had some unexplained bits, it was better than most of the stuff that's out there now and I thought it was really well done, especially for a super-hero movie. Some movies deserve to be made fun of because the author of the angry rant actually COULD do something better, but most of the time it's just a cynical, bitter, reviewer whose jealous because no Hollywood studios ever picked up HIS screenplay.

Sorry, that was a really long defense against a movie that you haven't even seen. But it just made me really mad.

lol Yeah, TDK isn't a comedy. At all.

Tell that to my mom.

Probably come out around Christmas. I think I can wait that long...emphasis on "think".

yil3e In reply to ThatsWhatSheSayd [2008-08-06 13:18:11 +0000 UTC]

aww that sucks. yeah there's always some idiot critic who's like "U GUIZ R ALL UNCULTURED SLUTS AND I KNOW SO MUCH MOAR THAN U ALL!" they just LOVE proving how they aren't swept along with big modern movies and goes all "in my dayy...we used nickelodeans...we had to FIND meaning and plot in our movies."
haha yeah I tried telling that to my dad and he was just like "but...he's a clown?? I thought clowns were supposed to be funny."
I find it funny that most people actually consider clowns scary. xD

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

ThatsWhatSheSayd In reply to yil3e [2008-08-06 14:57:30 +0000 UTC]

Exactly. I just want to give them a kick in the ass and tell them to get over themselves and enjoy the damn movie. Because TDK DOES have meaning in it and I don't care how much of a Blockbuster it is. It's more meaningful than "Juno", which I didn't think was nearly as entertaining and wonderful as everyone said it was. The critics just liked it because it was edgy and controversial and written by a former stripper. It was unrealistic and sort of glorified teenage pregnancy. Everything worked out perfectly for Juno, even though she really didn't deserve it.

But that was another pointless rant. I just don't understand critics at all.

Joker is funny...in a very creepy, sadistic, masochist kind of way.

HEY I find clowns scary! I actually find normal clowns scarier than The Joker. Because Joker is just amazing and supposed to be scary. The regular clowns are posing as something funny and friendly...when they are so totally all secretly ax-murderers.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

yil3e In reply to ThatsWhatSheSayd [2008-08-06 16:06:00 +0000 UTC]

ughh I didn't see Juno, but I don't really think it'll be that good. I think the only reason it's considered to be so freaking amazing is cause no one does stuff like that so it doesn't have to be good, it has to be new. So the fact dark knight was such a hit even after the 03485903485 batman movies out there, shows real success.
haha omg me too!! cause akjdfklasjdf I watched this show like called cold case or something (my cousins only have local TV so I watch all these murder mysteries) and there was this clown that killed these kids parents with an axe because he wanted to play with them and they didn't want to. It was so scary. Dx I never liked clowns. My brother used to cry every time he saw one.

thanks, and thanks for the . I could have done it without him.
WE WILL KEEP SEARCHING UNTIL WE FIND THEM! Even if we have to rob Armani to get the photos.

That sux! Hope it works and, if not, sitting in front of the computer isn't that bad.
