lol, you're such a hardcore Annabether (please notice that I did not say you were a percabether, I said you were a Annabether, lol). I think I said this to you before but to me, Percy and Annabeth needed both Calypso AND Rachel because Percy has no man parts and Annabeth can be too selfish. At some point during their relationship (and I like to call this point "whenever Luke is brought up" auhauha) Annabeth can act like such a meanie (and I'm not offending your fav character here, I mean, all meanies aside, MY fav is Clarisse it's not like I'm a fan of good deeds, right?) and Percy, well he doesn't ever react, you know? Like in the end of BotL when she says she lost Luke as a love and not him, that's pretty sad and still all Percy does is go "Oh. I see."
So both Calypso and Rachel were extremely important to the two of them as a couple because, if it depended on the two of them, Annabeth would never fell threatened and Percy would never set her straifght... *sighs*
And, actually, the official picture of Rachel as drawn by the guys from Disney Hyperion has her with this kind of hair, it took me some time to get used to it x_x

Yeah, I know what you mean, they're both pretty hopeless and would have taken forever for them to get together (if at all) if it was left only to them. I agree, but that doesn't mean I have to like Calypso for it, hahaha!
I am a hardcore Annabether indeed, she's now my favorite literary character EVER. She's even taken Hermione's place as my number 1 (don't worry, Hermy, you're still an owner of a huge part of my heart

I tried Muro for all of two seconds before I quit. It was too hard.
By the way, this actually looks pretty good other than a few wonky things.
Also, thankyou for not portraying either of these two as being boiled in a vat of oil. I'm a Percabeth fan or course, but I do like these two. Calypso seems like a genuinely good person, and Rachel is just like a lot of people on DevArt - artsy and a little bit weird. So I honestly don't understand all the hate art.

Muro's just hard because it has so many tools but not all of them are functional - it's like photoshop but more complicated to used because it lacks some really necessary tools. x_x Also, it's not very tablet sensitive, I don't know...
Yeah, there are some really messy stuff in this, I just posted for the sake of posting something from the muro. x_x
And yeah, I love both characters. The one thing that makes me dislike Rachel a little is the "mary-sueism" of her personality sometimes. I love the character and I love that it represented a t least a BIT of backbone from Percy on the whole Annabeth deal (I mean, so it's ok for her to mention she likes Luke whenever she cans but Percy is not allowed to go out with anyone else? yuck), but sometimes things Rachel do like "throwing a hairbrush on a titan" are very mary-sue related. Other than that, she reminds me of Lula Lovegood so I'm very fond of her.
And Calypso, poor Calypso people really shouldn't hate her; all she does is get her heart broken over and over :~~

YOU HAVE A TABLET?!?! I'm jealous...I can only do muro on my laptop, and sometimes the family desktop, so muro craps out a lot for me. Not to mention the tools. I'm actually in a class at school that teaches you photoshop, and the teacher's REALLY good, so I'm okay with it.

Yeah, I got my tablet a couple of years ago, before that it was all mouse for me :~~ I'm so jealous of people who get Photoshop classes, I had to strugle like hell to find the information I needed to do what I do now. I couldn't even create layers when I first started :~~ *emotional tears*
You should really get a tablet, it takes a while to get used to (I'm still learning) but it's super useful.
