Once again, something that should be in my scraps, but isn't, because that would kill me and because I'm not sure I'll ever finish it.

This was originally gonna be just a thirty minute ink drawing to use as an illustration for a project in spanish class (create and write your own "Myth" about how something came to be, in spanish. I chose "how death came to be" as well as "why crows are seen as bad luck"). But then I started shading the main crow all carefully... And then I needed to do the others the same way... And then I started coloring in the sky... And the whole thing just got away from me and became this huge big project I'm not sure I'll ever finish.

So yeah. Three crows (because I heard the superstition that bad things come in threes somewhere), one for old age, one for illness, one for injury, doing what they can to help the poor souls of people too old, too sick or too injured to really live get some rest, even though the world hates them for it.
... Hey, I just wanted to write a story about death's origin that wasn't negative for once. There was some fun stuff possible there!
