RIP Stuart and Falcon. Honoured for their work on the Mid Sodor. Duke would've been proud.

Poor Stuart and Falcon sheeted up after completing a extension project at the aluminum works at Peel Godred.

Yeah, what every happened to those impertinent scallywags...
Duke never saw Stuart or Falcon after they left the Mid Sodor Railway

Definitely a sad state of affairs for the engines of the MSR until the moments when each of them are saved.

At least Duke, Stuart and Falcon got to go to the Skarloey Railway and most of the MSR reopened as the Arlesdale Railway.

Is that an actual photo from the Corris railway?

I'm actually wondering if this was a real life event.

The Mid-Sodor Railway was based on the Corris Railway in Wales (neighbour to the Talyllyn Railway; the Skarloey Railway basis). So yes, this was a real life event for the Corris Railway.
