Damien seems to be a bit of an oddball. Often times he looks like he is lost in his own thoughts when left to his own devices. When being addressed or spoken to by someone else he takes on an appearance of looking put off. Please don’t think he is angry with you. In fact he is trying his best to sift through what you are saying. The dear boy-god’s head is often muddled. He is frequently in a haze caused by opiates for his migraines or in fact suffering through an awful headache. Damien tries his best to be functional but there are times he simply cannot understand what is going on. Don’t worry this doesn’t happen often, only if the subject at hand is something complicated and stressful.

When you get to know him, the youthful god is actually a good replacement for his predecessor. He is lively and cheerful, ready to get into mischief and explore every nook and cranny. For what lacks in commanding and control, he makes up for it in childish charm and bravery. Damien has no problems with talking to anyone that is under his rule. He would even be happy to go with them on adventures. Some may think that isn’t a rightful place for a god and faction ruler, but he could care less what they think.

While it seems to be hard to get him angry, it is best not to try. He seems to be at his most volatile while suffering from migraines or headaches. Do not poke the Giratina, the results may be not what you were bargaining for. As for being angry with him, for whatever reason, he will get nervous and start to shy away. Physically trying to hurt him will have you alone in seconds, he doesn't react to violence towards him very well if at all. Damien gets panicky really easily.

History:
Damien’s past seems to be kept hush-hush like most of the gods. Part of the problem, however, may be the fact that he has a hard time remembering it himself. The harsh blow to the head that he received as a teenager many centuries ago has made everything a blur for him. He doesn’t know who his attacker was or even why he was nearly killed. All he does remember is awaking in the deeper caves of Underisles Mines alone, scared, and his head throbbing like no tomorrow.

Familiar's Name: Tetrax
Familiar's Personality: Haughty | Imperial | Recluse | Protective
Damien’s familiar is contemptuous and regal. He is proud of his size and his status as a god’s familiar. As such he doesn’t seem to care for being around others. Tetrax is often hidden away somewhere quiet and dark. Do not expect him to ever be around Damien in public, unless something serious has happened. When alone with his charge Tetrax is warm and caring, babying the god because he knows just how hard Damien tries to get words out and to function around the ache in his skull. Damien is probably the only one he would ever left get close enough to touch him and even snuggle during really bad migraines.

Notes / Extra / Etc:
His halo is always floating over his head, even when resting it seems to keep near.

The flames that both he and Tetrax possess seem to not carry heat but throw light to cast more shadows around them most of the time.

The marks around his hips are tattoos that are continued on his back and around his shoulders, much like the markings on his familiar.

The relationship between him and Emerentius is unclear, but he doesn’t hesitate to call the other Giratina his brother.

While his weapon of choice is not pictured, Damien fights with duel chakrams and garrote wire.

Damien has the ability to dissolve his wings at will since they are made of shadows, sometimes he even uses them as a cloak. He can fly. Usually he makes his wings appear larger and less frail when he does.

It is hard to come across him in the light or during the day, the sunlight seems to bring about headaches. Your best bet to find the deity is during the night.

Damien is a opium addict, often chosing the route to smoke the dried latex sap. However, at times he will down elixers made of the stuff.

It is unclear why his left eye is red, it may have to do with hemorrhaging from trauma or he was simply born with with heterochromia.
