Tools: Photoshop Elements 10, Intuos 4 tablet
This picture is a sort of like a promo for my comic Tale of Beingchu/Exchu.

This picture was me going as 'all out' as I could. I know this actually doesn't even look like my doing, probably to many of you!
This style won't be used in the ToB comics except for these kinds of pictures that highlight events, since it is a bit "harder" to do, in a sense. I will say you guys will see more of it elsewhere though. I do really like this style, and I hope you guys like it too.
This was such an evolving picture, and so it took a lot of time. I'd like to think it is time well spent, because I am impressed by it, not to stroke my own ego....I just don't understand how I did this. But I did! Straight from my hands. ._.

Wow, this looks really good! The details and shading are always so intricate, ahhh. ~ It's also interesting to see some of the process behind it and how some of the poses ended up changing. And oh man, the bellsprout on the ground... I shouldn't be laughing at that... why am I laughing at that... ?
Anyway, this is action-packed and really colourful and those characters look so intriguing - it actually got me interested in reading the comic of yours. I love how they shoot seeds out of the guns... that is so clever.

Yeah, it's always good to let new things come to you. Sometimes you see it one way and then the next minute, you might see something completely different.
I already got a ways through and it's been pretty good; should be caught up in no time. It's been a nice read thus far!
I love that though; it's like fitting human-like weapons to a PMD environment which is refreshing. Anyway, keep up the good work!

In all serious though, great picture; got that nice character detail and colouring.
Feel like you missed a bit of an opportunity when it came to the background though, particularly with the walls; the small size makes it look as though this a small arena of sorts, and was the intention to make the walls appear metal-like? Maybe a little wear-and-tear on the battlefield if you wanted to put a little more time into it.

Thank you~! I was concerned about the coloring.
See, I didn't like the walls myself...I do like their texture personally, buuuuut to be frank I wasn't thinking about them much. I don't think they are fitting for the scene(if only for the fact they do look metal-like, and in the context of the comic, its a medieval era so it doesn't make sense logically.) but I didn't feel like putting in any more energy into them.
(Coulda made them brick, and as you could see in the sketches of it, I had the ridges on top of them which I decided to leave out for time efficiency...gah, I'm getting better at ignoring the lazy voice, but it is still there.) Backgrounds are a weakness I aim to address for the next few months!
