Personality: Kara is very energetic and loves pranks. She uses her strange ability to always slip past unnoticed despite her size to her advantage, setting up clever ambushes to make a laughing stock out of the pour creature who fell into her prank. Kara values her freedom greatly, which Avery, her rider, came to respect. The dragoness can be a bit impulsive and brash but always seeks out her brother in dangerous situations, even though she pretends that his presence is always boring and tedious. Kara can be quite cunning and quick-witted. The siblings balance each out perfectly, and together they can a be a hard team to beat and bring down, both of them understanding each other without even the use of telepathy.
The two dragons came from the Scorched Empire from a proud clan of desert dragons. They had lived there happily until Lex had done something unthinkable back then - he defied the elders of his clan, which was equated to treason. Kara convinced him to run instead of accepting a brutal punishment where a dragon was rid of his wings. Together they ran away to another continent where both of them were captured and sold on the market by rogue trappers. Thankfully they adapted with relative ease and after their first handler sold both of them to Avery, they didn't cause any trouble. Despite the strong friendship she formed with her brother, she keeps secret her nightly departures. While Avery knows and approves, Kara knows that it would hurt Lex to his core if he knew what she did on these flights. Without any remorse, Kira lets her disastrous magic run wild and take ahold of her, driving her to become stronger and more ruthless. The strange devilish being enveloped in black and golden storm clouds of magic was named Sandstorm by the locals, and both innocent and guilty would do everything they can to avoid it.
