So, now that this has been updated, I have to ask, but does the Super Evolution actually do anything for the robotic extensions of Metal Coola, or has it merely become an aesthetic thing by the end?Β

I don't really see how it's confusing, but it's the same as most other technology. Same as in the movie proper with how a Metal Coola repairs itself to be stronger, in this version they can't self upgrade. The Big Gete Star receives a bug report of any damage done to the Metal Coola bodies, and then the flaws that lead to the damage being caused are then fixed for the next generation produced. All gen 1 iterations have the same power, and will be weaker than a gen 4 iteration, regardless of body design. The "form" differences are purely aesthetic.

I'll never understand why this was not used for Cooler's main body in movie 6.
It would be a bit interesting to see the surviving part of the actual Cooler incorporated into the design.

Oh you mean that muscle massed variation that he'll never use? Coola himself had greater control in his True form than his brother, so he has Super Evolution that Freeza never unlocked it until very later.

At little late, but I'm glad you kept his transformation. That's one of my top favs in the series despite Cooler being filler material.

You kept the references to Coola's organic body in the notes. Maybe change it so it refers to Coola's Mecha form?
Also, how the hell does Coola know Instant Transmission? Did he go to Yardrat to train? Are you answering that question in DBR?

If I keep it, I'll probably have Colla replicate it from Goku rather than have already known it.

The Big Gete Star came from a place...where people were doing things. I'm not revealing anything yet, but given the fact that I'm attempting to connect some things for a more interwoven universe/story, it may not be hard to guess.
Survived? The Big Gete Star will be dead when Coola is dead. Unless that isn't what you meant, then I need clarification.

The Big Gete Star only uses Coola as its power source once it integrated him. When Coola dies, the machine loses its ability to do anything. Even take over another host.

I've come around to the idea of super meta cooler and i really like the design, but i feel like the lines of the metal that comprise his tail make the spike on his tail not look different enough from the rest of it. Maybe turning it into a blade would work better?

Hrmm. I know the end portion doesn't really fit in with the rest of what would have been armor on the organic version, but I kinda wanted to maintain the flexibility for the piece instead of the solid issue a blade would have...
I may change it anyway though. The inconsistency is grating on my nerves, and has been since I made it... xD

Well judging by the updated image it does seem like you've changed it. It does make a bit more sense now considering the spike was originally made out of bone (or whatever is protruding all over the place) when Cooler was organic.

Could unoccupied Big Gete Star, hypothetically, create mechanical copies of it's enemies if they were too strong to be defeaten by standard drones?

I don't know what it could do in the actual series, but it can't here. It's method of production doesn't allow it to create something stronger than itself. It'd still need the energy to power the things it creates.
