This price is called “Pink isn’t Stupid” This was a bit of practice on my faces while also not having to draw the eyes. I am super proud of this and I knew her hair was going to be pink when I started. I know a lot of girls and boys say pink is a gross color because it’s so “feminine”, and it always had me really confused. Why are things associated with feminism considered bad? Why do so many girls shy away from feminine things? I personally love the color pink in my art. It’s so bright and pretty. I wanted to draw a woman with pink hair just looking pretty and cool because pink doesn’t have to be associated with soft and cute things. What I also really like about the drawing is you can’t see her eyes or eyebrows, the most expressive parts of the face. You can’t tell what she’s thinking or feeling. I also didn’t have to draw eyes so it was a win for me. I would have cleaned it up better but this was a late night/early morning impuse project. I know her hair could have come out better.
