My first attempt at a merpony. She was a Glitter Glide, disassembled and given an apoxie sculpt tail. Obviously she was not going to stand on her own so she was attached to a base.Related content

hey how did you make the iridiscence on the fins?

The fins were made with fantasy film melted over the Apoxie Sculpt. I just pulled it tight and took a lighter to it. Singed my fingers a few times but the end result was worth it.

BEAUTIFUL work! All together, I'm not a huge fan of merponies, but from time to time, I come across ones like this which are absolutely stunning.
The sculpting is spot on and I have to say, thankyouthankyouTHANKYOU for making the scales go in the right direction ( I see scales going in the wrong direction on WAY too many merpony customs, and after a while, it just really started to bug the heck out of me ).
