mysterious! I like the skewed angle on a shot which was probably tempting to shoot face-on I would prefer some more shadow highlighting to draw my eye toward the tunnel,, maybe even an uneven vignetting toΒ burn the left side would do it.

I have, I use the burn tool a lot in photoshop, although I'm thinking a gradient overlay with a really low opacity might do the trick here

that's what I use.. .. you can thicken the opacity on a busy photo without noticing the rings .. doesn't work too well on mono-colors like sky
