Description I'm pretty psyched, you guys. The first ValiardΒ book is two chapters away from wrapping up, which can mean only one thing: SEXY. HOBO. BEARD. Joshua Valiard a.k.a Lord Redmere will be a fully-fledged character in the second book, and I'll finally have good reason to draw him LOTS AND LOTS.

Anyways, on to the pics.

Left is Ruth and Gangfield parting ways on the outer steps of The Valiard Mansion. Will they ever see each other again?

Right is a doodle of Ruth and Lord Redmere that I liked enough to colour. I tried to get Ruth looking statue-like, dead-like, compared to her usual outbursts. And Lord Redmere will have glowy eyes that help him see in the dark. Imagine dem peepers hovering at the end of a pitch-black corridor! BOO!

Yeah, that's gonna be one of the big plot points in my story, The Valiard Mansion β€” is Joshua a villain, or can he be trusted? Hmmmm! CRAZY!

But he'll only be introduced in the second book, which isn't even written yet! Only got the first one lined up so far. Which bums me out, because I can't wait to write this Joshua character! Gonna confuse EVERYBODY!

What is it with Big Creepy Mansions that always draws people in! xD but i cant wait for Sexy Hobo Beard! something about him reminds me of a mix of Count Dracula, The Beast and Smaug all can be charming at once but then in a instant can snap to show the monster within. Needless to Say i am excited for the next book and i will read some more! i cant wait for more and all the creepy things that will happen once in the mansion. btw is it too late to yell "RUN RUTH RUN FOR YOUR LIFE?

These are both beautiful. It makes me a little sad though, because Ruth is so happy in the first one, and Gangfield is clearly happy for her, but doom is just around the corner. Still, I'm really excited to get to read the conclusion, so much so that I've been having dreams about it. Still, I'm sure that whatever happens will blow my imaginings to pieces.Β
