Description
Over a year after its conception, I've finally written this scene!
That means doing a redraw of the original sketch to put into my novel. 
Hopefully this will serve as a little teaser to my Valiard readers. 
CONTEXT
It's the day after Gangfield had his little accident, so he's got a massive headache and his shoulder hurts tons.
However, he still finds the will to help Ruth practice her dancing and to share some frank relationship advice. 
Not sure yet where to go from here. Full colour, sepia, plain sketch—just absolutely no idea. Suggestions welcome!

I've actually started colouring it myself, but I keep hitting speedbumps. I just can't decide on a style, y'know?

Yeah, I think I'm going to be combining full colour and monochromes in the novel, depending on the mood of each scene.

Oh my god Ruth looks so beautiful ! Gangfield too but pain is written all over his adorable face .Still that is sure an efficient tease. ( and i read your comment on that boss who told you drawing was outdated...it's super scary )

Yeah, I wish I pushed Gangfield's expression a bit more, but I was watching Team America while drawing this so my attention was on the movie. 
As for traditional being outdated, the studios seem to be applying the logic that digital is faster. So they're less likely to hire you if you even so much as breathe the notion that you're not completely proficient with digital media.
However, they seem to also assume everyone poops Cintiqs out their bums. GENIUS!
Anyways, I've decided quite a while ago I'm no longer interested in working in the animation industry. Turns out it's not for me.

His expression is fine, especially if you were watching a movie while doing it ( you must be some kind of chameleon to be be able to do that btw, doesn't sound humanly possible to me
