Personality:   Micky is a pleasing filly with long legs and equally long, ground-covering strides. She has a fine head with a sweet expression, and a very athletic build. She is on the light side, but very much functional and tough. Her very competitive bloodlines lend to her determined personality. She is stubborn and headstrong, she does not back down from any challenges. She can be quite territorial, any additions to her herd must politely introduce themselves or risk a squeal and a kick. She is also known to chase dogs, chickens and other wildlife from her paddock. She seems to have a soft spot for the barn cats, though.

History: Micky was bought at a foal sale from Currawong Estate. Her sire has a phenomenal bloodline of competitive showjumpers, and her dam's previous racing career has built a powerhouse of a filly. Ashley wasn't expecting to buy a young horse, let alone a weanling, but has since fallen in love with the filly's toughness.
At 4 years old, Micky was sent to a professional breaker and after 30 days was ready for Ashley to take over her training. She started working on her flatwork and small cross-rails. Ashley maintained her skills working as a rider for various private parties and competing their horses for them. Micky has now competed in her first Encourager event and Ashley accepted a position to ride for Kolora Park Equestrian.
