Personality:   When Cricket was purchased, Jen remarked that the colt would only stay entire should he be absolutely exceptional. Cricket has taken that as a personal challenge, and has grown into a sweet, even-natured stallion, even in the terrible twos. He is quick to learn, quick on his feet and quick to please. He has no stallion-like bluster about him, and most people on first meeting believe him to be just a normal gelding. He is hyper-curious, often stray from the trail or path to go investigate or chase something into the bush, making "ponying" rides with him very interesting. He is the first to sniff out water and drop, scare something into the bushes or bump his nose against people in the paddock. He catches you - often when you least expect it. His one flaw is his lack of spatial awareness. Cricket has been known to accidentally shoulder barge a stall door off its tracks while walking, collide with other horses in the paddock and completely miss his feed bucket. It is hoped that it is linked to being unaware of his size and once he matures, he will grow out of it.
