Hello People! It is I, and I'm back!
Sorry for the delay this past month but this particular piece was a pain in the ass. Zaktan in this case being the biggest object of the page also took a while to get a good pose . *Ugh* So much else to do.
Anywho, some design ideas for the BIONICLE: NEXT GENERATION project. IMHO, instead of going for a near toy accurate design for *animation, I would encourage those currently working in that *department to be more creative to give the characters more life.
All in all, hope you like, please comment!
P.S. I haven't joined the site at this point yet so expect more work to come...

I've found very few decent Pohatu renditions on this site, and I have to say your design is outstanding. There's a real sense of weight with these characters. Just superb.

I love how you accurately made each character with distinct homages to its set without making them look like they were completely made of plastic. The artstyle is magnificently detailed and much better than the movies that attempted a similar outcome.

Wow...I absolutely love the mechanics. And I'm digging those canisters on Onua's claws (pun intended). This is wonderful. Zaktan was always my favorite Piraka. >:]
However I feel like you lost the mystical, tribal vibe of the 'verse, as well as the mystery behind what they ARE.
Part of what makes Bionicles unique was that it never really explained what they were or how they came to be, and the fact that there was no telling whether they were robotic with organic parts or organic with robot parts. In this piece you make it very evident that they are robotic, but when I strain my eyes I can see a few odd shreds of muscle here and there.
Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love this piece and fav'd it, but maybe next time try some tribal glyphs or exposed organs, maybe.

Very nice rendition. I really like that you included Pohatu in both hi Mata and Nuva forms, Onua looks great, but I'm not terribly crazy about the expression on his mask. And of course Zaktan looks just as evil as he truly is, but did you honestly intend for him to look so much like Revenge of the fallen Megatron?
