This was comissioned work. I have to admit it put up a little challange when it came time to deal with the head wrapping... give me hair any day
This is a photo i took of the drawing which is really 18"x24". It was done on charcoal paper(acid free) using Graphite pencils and a white Pastel pencil. I know a drawing from me was long overdew!!

Thankx, i appreciate your comment! It was done on Charcoal paper, i converted this picture of the drawing to black and white in photoshop. The real look of that kind of charcoal paper resembles the kind of paper the old masters like De Vinci would use but aged thus appearing like how one of those classic drawings appear now.

Her eyes was what struck me when i first saw the picture i refrenced. They are so confident, bright and full of life so it was a pleasure to recapture that by hand. Thank you for the comment and the

How much do you charge for portraits? ( I hope to be able to do work, hopefully, to your calibur some day!

I charge about 100 US or more depends on the number of persons, size paper etc. it can vary as well due to difficulty eg. drawing someone with a large curly afro vs a ball headed man
