Here we go, dissecting that prophecy that has created three books and a huge fandom line by line.
"Seven half-bloods shall answer the call."
The first thing that came into my mind was, "They must be answering a whale call! Percy's gonna take all of them in the ocean and look for a whale that will guide them to the Doors of Death!" That was my way-off-base horribly inaccurate prediction of how the Mark of Athena was going to go down.

So in this hypothetical situation, they go down into the San Francisco Bay off the coast to look for like a "mark" of Athena. Unfortunately for them, off the coast of California where Camp Jupiter is, they would find out that *puts on nerd glasses* gray whales feed at the bottom of the ocean, sucking up anything from the sand to eat for food. So unfortunately the whale would probably not care if seven demigods were in the way of its food or not. So now they're all---well at least half of them---are trying to figure out ways to keep the whale from bursting their bubble so they can keep on their quest.

^^^That was my brilliant idea of how Mark of Athena would go down. Thankfully Rick saved the day and wrote an actual book while my brain kept spewing random crap.

Next line is "To storm or fire, the world must fall"...that's gonna be fun.
Unfortunately it might be a big gap between this one and the next since I go back to school and I have finals next week. Sigh...oh well.
