Etsy Listing: www.etsy.com/listing/198812917…We knew after building The Wonderbolts that we had to make their darker version so we decide to make The Shadowbolts to accompany them! This box is premiering at Nightmare Nights 2014.
The construction for this is almost identical to the Wonderbolts but with a lot of much darker affects. We decided to keep their uniforms pretty plain, only using gold mirrorboard to accent their lightning bolt and goggles. We went glitter crazy on their backgroudn though, using a dark blue subtle glitter for the base, light blue glitter for the strips and glitter for the stars and silhouette.s We also settled on gold mirrorboard for the lightning bolts that frame the bottom of this box.
Over all, this box has a lot of glitter and makes a really striking figure. We are so pleased with how well it came out and how awesome the Wonderbolts and Shadowbolts look side by side.
