Description
The original model was heavily based off the German Dingo, though the TAC has a longer chassis to accomodate more cargo space for its troops.

The A9200, which was at its heyday, the only Tactical Assault Carrier in service, saw combat in all of the pre-Covenatrian wars, and every single Covenatrian war to date.

In the beginning, the A9200 was the workhorse of the Genesikan army, and then, once the early Galactic Era hit Costellon, the military all terrain jeep saw service in the Bahn Rahnite Union's civil war, various proxy wars; and even the civil war of the soon to be born Interstellar Covenanted States. All in all, it has been lightly modified from its original shape and form for over twenty years, and now has three cousins: the A9203, A9210; and A9229 variants for all purpose, rural and police uses.

The TAC is well known in as the Covenatrian military workhorse, and seen as the country's primary military jeep. There are no civilian variants, in service, as civilians feel that while a market exists for it, these vehicles will lose their luster and longevity quickly in the civilian market, and the pride that comes with seeing one of these jeeps rushing to the rescue is always a warm sight in the hearts of the general populace.

Military officials commend the TAC and its variants, and many prefer the safety of a TAC over a TIV, or Tactical Insertion Vehicle.

The most famous combat seen by this TAC variant, was the fight for Amani Unus, in which the city defenders zoomed around city streets in TACs, fending off Atlantean invaders, and a major assault on an Atlantean base in town resulted in over fifty TACs being used.
