Description The Marines of the Interstellar Covenanted States were developed as part of the Interstellar Defense Forces' planetary and Costelonite defense system following the fracturing of the young republic.

Often the first ones in combat, the Marines are seen as the go-to soldiers for taking territory and holding it until more substantial assistance can arrive in the form of IDSTs or Regular infantry.

Being the largest branch in the ICSIDF, the Marines use mass produced equipment, such as the Fn200 assault rifle, the Sn77 Battle Helmet; and the Alice Personnel Ground Troop Armor system.

Many Marines are battle hardened and tough, and if they are given an inch; they will take a foot.

Thanks. But this Marine uniform has been updated. [link] to showcase better handling of 3D information into one realistic model. ^_^

Take you time like I did. The Marines were one of the first ICS commissioned soldiers, but they took the longest to design. The files are at best, 651,567 polys in size and twenty five megabytes.

For the game version, it's at least 100,000 polys in size and eight megabytes.
So this is a very well detailed file. But hey, can't do much about that for now.
But like I said, no need to rush. Take your time and hone your skills.

thanks man for the advice and sorry i commented twice! my phone annoys me... but yer i need to design them first, you got the Union infantryman who are like advanced modern day soldiers then veterans and marines who have Union powered armour and then the assault and elite squads who have specialised heavy power armour, all of which need to be designed!

What I do, is draw my soldiers first and then measure their equipment before putting it in 3D. This way I've got a sound idea of what I'm looking for.

But that's what I do, I'm sure you'll find a way that works for you as well.

yer our soldiers power armour usually incorperates all the gear needed anyway and provides amazing protection to the wearer, our non powered troops have to sadly carry their gear but they dont complain and their armour is still capable of defelcting bullets and some energy weapons

Is the helmet at all inspired by the ODST design?

Nope, The modern Hockey helmet with a batter attached to the back.
Although the UNSC helmet did play a small role. It could have been bigger though if I had the CPU for it.

I'm going to say this, This is one of the most modern soldiers Ive seen so far on the GFA.
I like the utilization of the single piece uniform and the Battle helmet.
And the Discription is Short simple and to the point!

All in all, Impressively nice!
