Description Name Pronunciation: Tech - see - Rah

The Tkeksira are large, quadrupedal creatures that seem to be an amalgamation of many species. They, as a whole, are extremely diverse and come in all shapes, sizes, colors, and variants. Their species and genus are something that has never been seen by human kind before, up until now. These creatures are purely found within the realms of Savroya, but rumor states that they can, and will, create portals into other worlds or dimensions if left to their own devices.

Tkeksira are considered sentient by nature. Much like humans they have the ability to feel, think, and perceive many different things about their surroundings and the people and animals they share their world with. However, this does not mean that Tkeksira can speak like we do. They have been known to mimic human speech, but can't grasp the concept of most languages known to man. They do have their own language, which consists of over a hundred different vocal calls and people, who decide to become guardians of these gentle beasts, can easily pick up on what their Tkeksira are trying to communicate.

Tkeksira are well known for their magical properties. Some have elemental magics, while others have more supernatural gifts, and even others hide what their abilities are only showing what they are truly capable of if a true connection is formed between them and their guardians. Rumors and legends state that all Tkeksira can create portals. If this is true, only a handful of people know about this talent, and they definitely aren't indulging their secrets with others.

This species as a whole are omnivorous by nature. This means they are apt to eating anything available to them, be it plants or animals. Most Tkeksira are foragers or scavengers, but very rarely, if food is scarce, they have been known to hunt down sizable prey to satiate their hunger. These hunting parties usually consist of no more than five or six Tkeksira at a time, unless their family groups consist of more members which is usually rare in the wild. Domesticated Tkeksira end up being completely reliant on their guardians and if, for any reason, returned to the wild won't be able to cope and therefore will die.

I'm sure I have several of these guys wandering around on both my dA and Toyhouse. They were used for my adopt thread on Xanje, which I am super behind on, but after I catch up on giving the reminder of those out to people I am thinking of shutting down that thread and starting to turn them into adopts here. I even have a rough bust sheet in the works which I have really been enjoying working on in my spare time, along with another possible dragon adopt bust sheet. These guys are so fun to draw as they can pretty much look like anything, which a few defining characteristics that all Tkeks have.
Also posting this here just in case I do finally do adopts of them, I can link this image to the adopt description so people can learn more about the species as a whole.
These four are for my personal use only!!!

Keep an eye out in the future if you're interested in possibly adopting a Tkeksira of your very own.
