And some more of my little deer study projects, this one with a slight twist of fantasy. I really have been enjoying these studies I have been doing and think I am slowly figuring out proper anatomy. Hopefully soon I will venture into bigger projects with these studies with nice scenic backgrounds. I especially love his hooves and antlers. I ended up scrapping several layers on his body as I was attempting to also make his fur super shiny as well, but after taking a step back and giving him a good once over, it just didn't look right. Besides, hooves and antlers are made from much different stuff that fur, so the hairs wouldn't have been as shiny anyways.
