Oh I just realized, it's the Month of May...have to do something nice for May ^^

And nice this is as it's my 620th color commission, we hit another milestone so of course we have to do another LAMA picture for this and I've got something really special for all of you as we got a Pokemon themed picture that takes place in the Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire world with Lisia and May starring the picture along with Squritle being May's pokemon and Gorebyss being...Lisia's Pokemon? Well if you know ORAS and this character, her main Pokemon is actually Altaria but given the scenario that this picture is, having an Altaria won't exactly fit well...enough though that Pokemon could breathe underwater in the game no problem due to video game logic but for the sake of argument, Lisia would use an Gorebyss for her partner here.

Anyways story time, Lisia and May have been good friends since Lisia introduced May to contests and May getting some good wins in her belt. When Lisia approached May, Lisia had this idea that she wanted to do for some time and figures that May would participle as she planned and figured out how to do Pokemon contests underwater with the trainer wearing diving gear and bring a water pokemon to perform with them (because if X and Y had the ability to do sky battles with flying Pokemon then why the heck not) and May happily agrees. Now it did took a bit of practice and figure out how to perform but May and Squritle got their routine down and so did Lisia and her Gorebyss. The two were at the day of the performance ready as the two use LAMA gear as their main equipment with some few differences which I'll get to later. Anyways the two dive underwater as they perform in a small aquarium area in front of a crowd of people, the fish tank in question is actually modeled like one of the Pokemon contests from the surface. With the two trainers ready and their Pokemon ready as well, the two battle it out in the first underwater Pokemon Contest. It is strange and it was hard to move but both May and Lisia along with their pokemon preformed the best that they could. There were a few minor errors on both of their parts but the two ended strong as the trainers and pokemon strike the final pose as the audience cheer for them as both Lisia and May are pretty happy to compete with each other and had fun overall. Their Pokemon on the other hand were less on having fun and more of trying to out perform each other and make it so that they win the first underwater contest in the end. Well hey, still healthy competition ^^

Alright, so a while ago you may recall that I colored a Pokemon picture where there's two different characters wearing two different types of LAMA gear, a Real Life one that has mostly correct details of how LAMA gear is along with a few extra equipment like Double Air Tanks, Back up Regulator, and Air Gauge and a simplified LAMA gear where the details are...well simplified. Now we got another similar situation here where both characters wear different LAMA gears with Lisia with the simplified and May with the real life LAMA with a similar wetsuit design. While to make it up for Lisia, she has a little bit more flare to wetsuit which is cute.

As for the stage, it's pretty cute as well making the stage aquarium like...even though that ironically they are in an aquarium. Either way this did take me some time to fully color this as I remember seeing a reference of what the stage was based on like the stripe on the floor so I tried to do that and polish all the details that I can to make the picture the best that I can get it. Granted I couldn't do everything as I had a little more extra help, mainly polishing the equipment a bit and tweaking May's face a bit to match better with Lisia. So not only did I have evgnm help with the gear but as well as Niume with May's face. Thanks again
