Alright it's my 262nd color commission and it's time for another Fiction Diving Encyclopedia which...wow I haven't had any of those in a long time as the last FDE picture I colored was almost 10 months ago but hey better than 11 months am I right? Anyways this time we are going to look at the Azumanga Daioh series featuring Sakaki...Sakaki...? You mean she doesn't have a last name? Kind of strange seeing how there are several characters that have last names but several characters doesn't like Sakaki for example. Getting off topic, Azumanga Daioh!...It's a show...yeah I got nothing. I haven't seen it but I know that a lot of people really like this series as when I was on the internet back in the day, there were a lot of clips which I seen a few as I think it was one of the earlier anime memes out there mainly with "Mai Waifu" which a lot of people are stilling using Waifu to this day. But that's really about it as I know it's a great Slice of Life comedy show, just haven't seen it.

Coloring is a minor hassle as the screencaps that I got a hold of helped a lot in terms of the wetsuit and gear, the colors were a bit muddy and I'm not saying that because it was underwater as everything else seem like the colors have been washed out a bit. I mean this was made in 2002 so that would explain why that is and to my knowledge while there is a Blu-ray release of Azumanga Daioh, I couldn't find footage of this so what I did was take what I got and brighten the colors just a bit so that the colors would stand out a bit more. Everything else I tried to match the coloring style which is standard stuff and surprisingly no color effects on the equipment, heck not even a visor on the goggles which makes my job slightly easier. Only thing about the equipment was that Shoxxe decided to add in some extra details to the jacket of the gear with buckles and other stuff that wasn't in the original picture which leads me to the choice of either color those extra parts similar to the screenshots but look lazy doing so, or just give it some extra colors and not be true to the original source and I choose art in the end
