Now for Something Different ^^

It's my 604rd color commission and this color commission is special as it's an Alt Color Commission. For those who don't know, one of the offers I have for commissions is alt colors, mainly if there's a picture that was fully drawn and color by someone, you can ask me to make another color version of the same picture if the person gives me the line art and is completely alright with me making my own coloring of this. Been a while since we had that at least and hopefully more would let me as people get a discount for doing alt color commissions with me ^^

Anyways back to the picture. I have posted a lot of similar pictures for a while but now it's time to mix it up a bit as we got a space themed picture with a simple picture of a character wearing a spacesuit in space. Nothing too much special yes but it's the contents of the character and the suit that makes it a bit special for me as the character is a Sonic OC with Gizmo the Takuni, a character created by my dear friend and it also features a spacesuit of evgnm's creation, the Stardust XT

Nothing too much to go onto Gizmo himself. Just a character who likes going on adventures and is fascinated by everything Space related. Pretty straight forward with a cute design. Reminds me of Tails a little bit ^^ But as for the spacesuit, it's an original creation by Evgnm as well and he posted a fully detail concept sheet of the suit in full. Too many things to list here so give it a look to see the full specs and how each of the parts work. It's pretty thought up well

Concept | Stardust XT

As for the suit itself, I really like it. I mentioned before how I don't like suits that are too bulky or too skin tight, and perfer something in the middle like the Astrogirl spacesuit for example. This seems to fit it pretty well as being the right size. Granted part of the size could be due to it being fit more for Mobians like Gizmo like I like said, it's a good middle ground and comes equipped with some handy stuff like a UI that displays on the bubble helmet and a wrist display showcasing different details and buttons to press. It's pretty good and I don't mind coloring more of the Stardust XT in the future ^^

But outside of that, coloring is a bit straight forward. Helps that this picture is just a simple space background and the spacesuit isn't too detailed that coloring it wasn't too much of an issue. Although only thing interesting is that along with the bubble helmet effect that I have, I put an orange tint over it to give it more of a space feel to it. Not too much of a fan of putting a tint effect but it fits him quite well

And finally funny enough as I just found this out, yes evgnm did do the line art of the picture but he didn't fully draw it. As the sketch of the picture was drawn by someone else by and I guess evgnm loved it so much he decided to make a full picture out of it. So basically this picture was worked on by three different people, one did the sketch, one did the line art and one did the coloring. That hasn't happened in a while and it's good to work on something with multiple people involved ^^

But that's basically it. Happy how this came out and special thanks to Evgnm for letting me color this. Which speaking of, he definitely helped me out a lot of line arts tweaking them and making it easier for me to color allowing me to make the pictures as best that I can get it despite the situation he is in. Because of that I was able to color some of his pictures for free as my way of saying thanks and I can't wait to share them in the future. So expect Evgnm's name to show up a lot in the future ^^
