Okay I told myself to focus on pics that are not space-themed for a while but it's been always the space-themed pics that often inspired me to get back to drawing

But hey, at least this one is a pretty fresh one for me! A super belated birthday gift and another p-EMU drawing this time after a while, with some drastic twist you guys noticed right away already. Yup, It's worn by a Mobian/Sonic-style character! And as we can see here, Gizmo the Tanooki, a Sonic fan character by is back clad in the suit that mostly appeared being worn by humans in my gallery, for a mission on the moon, showing up a diamond he just mined out of the lunar rock!

This one was mainly inspired by a coloring of his lineart that was posted recently, particularly this one , and yes, while the idea for a mobian version of the p-EMU spacesuit is mine, I'm not the first one to did a picture of it. In fact, I thought it was impossible, until I pitched the idea to Ev anyway and did a mobian version of my Astronaut Classroom OCs in one, and he did a rather great job on it! There was one with Geo as a mobian hawk in one right here , another one with Buzz as a coyote wearing the Lunar Spec right here , and another one with Geo holding hands with Marta the bear on Mars in the Martian Spec right here !

So yeah as for the process, the spacesuit on this pic was done from scratch, using these drawing by Ev as a reference. A bit ironic given the suit design is my whole idea, but it is what it is I did pitched the idea for a different DCM controls layout though, to fit better with mobians' larger head and smaller torso., such as moving the blue buttons from the front, which is the normal human version one uses, to the side, and made the sliders bigger. The name tag was placed under the DCM on his first take, but moved back to it's front on the later revision he did.

That's pretty much it, hope you guys liked it!
