Shadow vs Graphite

I came across some oil paintings of two stallions fighting that got me thinking how come I haven’t seen anyone draw mlp style stallions fighting. So I decided to draw one myself.

Graphite was not my first choice for this drawing I originally started out working on a completely different unicorn but that character’s owner got a little soft when I told him it was going to be a fight scene.
