Catering to Suran's latest set of assignments, this wordless strip of sorts pretty much depicts Erskine and the other guards checking out a building their leader wanted them to explore. It was a fun challenge finding a way to draw each of the Suran guards at least once, even if some of them might possibly not be in Suran anymore ^^'

PLEASE NOTE: NONE OF THIS IS REALLY CANON. Considering that Erskine's mind was on other things and the whole building ordeal in itself was bewildering, his 'memory' of things could very well be inaccurate. Plus this was mostly just for fun.

Also, some of the images have 'lighting' while others don't. this is to kind of show how the lights were flickering on and off... |D

IMAGE ONE: The plan of action for this sequence of sketches was that some of the guards would challenge the Infected while the others made a run for it. Afterward, the strategy would involve the guards occasionally shuffling around the kitten while the others would distract the Infected, leading them on goose chases while trying to find an escape from the dark building.

IMAGE TWO: Erskine facing off one of the Infected.

IMAGE THREE: Stella carrying the kitten.

IMAGES FOUR-SIX: Shots of some of the Infected attacking the group. One of them is a matted longhair, the other nearly hairless and having just been scratched by one of the guards. The third was.. me having some fun. I wanted to draw a 'supermodel cat' with poofy hair. xD

IMAGE 7: Phenia quickly transfers the kitten to Erskine.

IMAGE 8: Erskine reaches a room with a set of stairs (not visible here) and an elevator whose doors never closed back. Unfortunately an Infected is blocking him.

IMAGES 9-11: When the Infected leaps at him, Erskine pulls a Simba and falls onto his back, shoving the cat away with his hind paws. The infected cat slams into the back wall of the elevator but just as it charges Erskine again, the elevator's cords finally give way and it collapses, taking the Infected down with it.

IMAGE 12: Erskine is bewildered. xD

IMAGE 13: Talicka finds Erskine and possibly asks if he's okay. Erskine's quite alright and he's more than ready to find a way out of this building.

IMAGE 14: Everyone makes it out just as the sun is setting.

IMAGE 15: The kitten's mother is waiting outside, searching for her son when she realizes the guards have him. The reunion warms Erskine. Also, the mother is a gray and ginger-tabby bicolored cat.
