I cannot begin to express how excited I am that I'm finally posting this. I mean, this idea has been sitting in my brain for almost a year, before Rebels even debuted! It's what happens when you're making toast and eggs for breakfast and you start wondering what a normal breakfast is like for the Ghost crew here. There's an absolute ton of detail and interesting things to point out, so what I'll do is break down different elements at a time instead of rambling on in one long paragraph. Here we go!

- Hera, I feel, came out the best of these guys in my opinion. The markings on her lekku were a little tricky but overall she was a lot simpler to do than I anticipated. As you can tell, she is definitely the only morning person in the bunch. Her pose is almost exact to the one I originally concepted, though she was actually a bit too happy in the old one XD
- I've doodled Kanan a fair amount but this is the first really accurate one I've done of him. Thankfully, all those layers of clothing and armor weren't as much trouble as I thought they might be. Yup he only tolerates mornings when there's hot caf and the holonet news involved. Oh, and doing the hologram was awesome. I love how realistic it came out! And if you can read Aurebresh and read it backwards I wrote some funny stuff in there XD
- Sabine's pose definitely changed from the original concept. She was originally pretty much asleep facedown on the table, but that's a pose I haven't quite figured out how to master. But I really like the one I ended up going with. Poor girl was up late painting... it's hard to tell but I did add some dark circles under her eyes. Also of note, her pajama top is a nod to her new hair streaks (for the record, I like to think this pic happened sometime in the middle of season 1). And yes she's the only one eating cereal. It just seemed right -- colorful and high-energy! And my gosh yes check out that cereal box! XD I'm literally going to have to post the vector art of that separately!
- Ezra was tricky (mostly in lieu of that awesome but hard-to-do-exactly-right hair of his), but I managed to pull through pretty well. Note his pajama shirt; though you most likely can't make out all the details, it's an old shirt of Kanan's for a Jedi Gravball Team from back in the day. Random idea, yes, but it was so so fun to do. I actually did cursive Aurebresh on it! I'm so proud! And yes... yeesh Zeb let Ezra have some bacon already!
- And then there's Zeb. He was the hardest of these guys to draw. And I think he's still pretty off-scale to the rest of the characters, but man that guy is just huge! And his anatomy rather gave me some trouble. Plus, I had to do his normal suit without the armor (I know he apparently doesn't have any problems sleeping in it but it just didn't feel right for the sake of the pic), and that wasn't easy. Forgive me if I got anything wrong. But I did pretty well with the markings and I love the way I ended up shading his eyes, so it's all right. The concept of Ezra and Zeb fighting over the bacon was a late idea, but it was perfect. Originally I didn't really know what to do for the big guy and Ezra was just going to be in a sleepy state kinda like Sabine, but this concept works so well, so very true to their big-brother-little-brother thing, and I just adore it.
- Chopper almost didn't make it into this picture, but my brother convinced me he ought to be here too, even if he can't share in this delicious breakfast (he also gets full cred for reminding me to make the milk blue and the BB Berries cereal concept). Once I hit on the idea that he stole the second-to-last slice of bacon just to stir up trouble with the boys, I couldn't imagine this drawing without him in it! So yeah he was fun, trying to emulate all the paint scratches and bits of rust. He'll be one I'll need to practice more in the future, but he turned out cute overall.
- The entire setting is pretty amazing. It's hardly accurate to the actual Ghost kitchen, but it works. Don't ask why they have a big round table all of a sudden, or where Hera got the nice silverware and dishes (it's probably plastic though), it just works man. I kinda wish I had detailed the food more, but I didn't have a lot of room to work with them adequately. If I ever do a redraw I will probably draw all the food individually so I can shade it and detail it better. But seriously, it still all looks good enough to eat! Ah what can I say? I love breakfast food!
- The shading of the overall pic is gorgeous. I tried something different this time and used Photoshop's various settings, mainly "darker" and "soft lighting" to get what hopefully is a richer, more lived-in atmosphere. It's particularly nice-looking on the hair and shiny things.

OK I think I'm done now. Gosh I love this thing... I might need to write a little story behind this if I get the chance! Enjoy, my fellow Star Wars fans. And please be nice in the comments I'm really proud of this
