Thanks so much. I adore Mirage, in case anyone couldn't tell. There's so much going on inside him, things that don't show on the surface, and it makes him a fun subject to paint.

He's the kind who tries not to show what they're thinking or feeling, unless you catch him at the right moment and he isn't aware. I haven't managed to catch him yet the way you can, but I will one of these days ...

Me too. Oddly enough, his voice was done by Frank Welker, who of course does Megatron. So, the Autobot "traitor" is really affiliated with Megatron after all...hee hee.

The brush marks on this are very interesting, particularly on his shoulders. He's partially watery and partially grainy, like he's neither material not immaterial.

Thanks. Yeah, I'm not sure I exactly got what I was going for here. I liked it enough to post, but...we'll be practicing more. I'm trying to loosen up, but making my brain let go of its death grip on things like contour lines is harder than it sounds.
