Description
Just a still taken from my video of preserved LNER Gresley A4 Pacific number 4464 'Bittern', seen here ploughing through Lancaster with the northbound working of the Cumbrian Ranger tour from Crewe to Carlisle.
Due to gauging issues at Carlisle, the locomotive was removed at Carnforth and a Class 47 took the train forward to Carlisle whilst Bittern followed behind with its support coach. Not sure what gauging issues these might have been seeing as A4's have been to Carlisle a million times before and will probably go there a million times again.
