Now I know in the last contest I drew 's OC; Corporal Xalcer, humanized and ended up winning that one (which you can see here

To be honest I'm not expecting to win this time around because I admit that because of the last one it's a tad more unoriginal and less creative to do the same thing again, however nothing else felt right. I could not draw him fighting without scraping it because it looked like garbage and simply doing a profile sort of thing felt boring and I figured that doing a shipping image with him and a canon character wouldn't be appropriate (by the subject matter itself and because it doesn't exactly meet the challenge). In the end I decided to try taking a stab at humanizing him in a rather heroic pose. I find it fun trying to convert a pony's armor which was obviously designed to be on a pony and putting it on a human. This is what I got. And I also liked the idea of using a cape in place of his wings, as you can sorta see those armor/blade things he tends to have are part of the design of the fabric. And mirroring his mane and tail with the cloth on his belt I thought would be a wise decision and an interesting place for his cutie mark (cause putting it on the cape is too cliche' even for me).

All in all I'm more satisfied with this piece than I was at the dozens of others that I failed at. There's less than 3 days left in this contest so if you think you got what it takes you best hurry up and get over here
