What that means is that I took the comic, maybe photoshopped/rearranged the panels some, and added my own words (hence why some of them are in two or even three different fonts). El Goonish Shive is owned and copyrighted by Dan Shive (sometimes his copyright is still in the strip slay, and tended to be actually pointed out in my early ones). There’s a whole thread of these on the forum which Dan occasionally commented on back when he watched the forums and referenced in his comic’s commentary, so though I did not personally ask his permission to do this, I’m fairly certain I have it.
