Elvira was born with a rare genetic disorder that resulted in significant weight gain. At a young age, her mother walked out on her and her father, claiming the girl to be "ugly"and "unlovable". Her father Yaroslav, meanwhile, loved his daughter deeply and promised that he would never leave his daughter as her shallow mother had. This event led her to comfort eating, only making her weight more of a problem.
Her situation led to vicious bullying from her schoolmates over both her weight and the mother leaving her. In an attempt to comfort his daughter, Yaroslav showed her a program about Japanese sumo wrestlers, explaining how they used their weight to become immovable objects and overpower their opponents.
Elvira was enamoured with these giant men and began watching online videos of matches and lessons. She later put what she had learned to use to beat the bullies until they stopped insulting her. Although she was nearly expelled for this, her father told her how proud he was of her and asked her if sumo was something she wished to pursue more seriously.
After she agreed, he took her to a recently-established club that taught amateur sumo under a retired sumo wrestler from Japan. Elvira took to it quickly and was soon assisting in teaching newer students.
Years later, the club was discovered by the bullies that had picked on Elvira and been beaten by her. They set fire to the building while the members were still inside. Elvira got as many of them out as she could, but she and a few others became trapped inside.
Just when she thought all hope was lost, a mysterious figure appeared before her and offered her the power to save herself and the others if she agreed to become part of his team. She agreed immediately and with a handshake, she was granted new inhuman abilities; her strength was enhanced and the heat ceased to affect her. Using these powers, she was able to safely get everyone else out of the building, much to her great relief.
Her next order of business was to find those responsible, which she quickly did. Upon realising who they were, Elvira beat them savagely, breaking an untold number of bones and doubtless leaving them damaged for life. But she refused to kill them. She refused to reduce herself to their level, something her mysterious new benefactor noted as interesting. Regardless, Elvira had her place on this team as the immovable Gluttony.

Powers:
Elvira's skin is very thick and difficult to penetrate. In addition to protection from piercing and cutting, this gives her incredible insulation, protecting her from intense temperatures both hot and cold. She also has enhanced strength, allowing her to lift up to four times her own body weight. Finally, she is able to inflate feelings of hunger and gluttony in others through prolonged skin contact. Unfortunately, these powers require a lot of energy, forcing Elvira to eat a lot of food. Luckily, her digestive system is also enhanced, preventing any digestion issues and even allowing her to digest indigestible materials.
Personality:
Elvira is a gentle soul at heart, but her past has left her with a ton of unresolved issue, making her incredibly violent when sufficiently angered. Even so, she refuses to kill and falls into depression easily when insulted on her weight. The only people she feels truly care for her are her father, friends in the sumo club and her teammate Lust, who appreciates her inner beauty. She also trains by wrestling bears in the mountains, one of which she later adopts.

It's funny how the sinners so far have all be the sympathetic villains. Weird, isn't it? I wasn't sure what gender to go with in this one either. I made two test images and showed my friend Matt. He chose female and I think it worked out better as a result. She looks less like the Blob at least. Plus, fat women aren't that common in comics. #DCRuinedAmandaWaller
