Description Yesterday's work. This is Madeline, a Minnesota artist who had an exhibition at my gallery a couple of years ago. It was the best-selling exhibition we've ever had, and as she was coming for a visit, I thought it might be a nice gesture to paint her portrait as a kind of "thank-you" gift.

This is watercolour, 9" by 11".

Thanks very much. It took a while to get comfortable with portraiture; pretty people are actually fairly easy to paint.
